After school, he migrated from the small-town atmosphere of Maryland’s Eastern Shore to the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. He performs regularly in the mid-Atlantic region and has developed a strong fan base. He has attracted attention from many well-known names in the music industry and beyond, including Dean Dinning of Toad the Wet Sprocket and Ben Stein. Smith offers addictive melodies, a soulful vocal style, and an off-the-beaten-path kind of pop-sensibility.
